Vivek is a seasoned general manager and entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in building successful international organizations across diverse industries and situations. A proven performer able to lead organizations from inception to maturity, build world-class teams and run Fortune 500 businesses. Vivek has started and build 2 companies as an entrepreneur in India and US. He was most recently the EVP of global services at Alcatel-Lucent and a member of the companyís Management Committee. In this role, he turned around a loss making business and grew it to a $5 billion run rate business. Prior to this, he was the CEO for ALUís India operations where he grew business by five fold in 4 years driven by new customers and new revenue segments. He delivered significant savings when managing Supply Chain Networks in APAC and has handled business restructuring assignments in Sales and Optical networks. He holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and under-graduate degrees in computer science, economics and mathematics.

Objectives
Entrepreneurs today are in need of three very basic requirements. With my vast experience, I can add significant value to the entrepreneur in mentoring them through the initial stages of their concept and business development. At the next stage, through Freemont Partners, we are able to provide them direct funding from our own capital. As they grow, through the relationships we bring to bear, we are able to provide them access to clients both domestically and across the globe. Since we are keenly interested in being associated with startups that have innovative IP centric solutions at their core, we will enable them to leverage opportunities on a global platform.
